Τη μοναδική ευκαιρία να εντρυφήσουν στον κόσμο της παραδοσιακής μουσικής θα έχουν για πρώτη φορά στην πόλη των Τρικάλων μουσικοί από όλη την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, στα πλαίσια ενός καινοτόμου εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος, που θα λάβει χώρα από τις 25 έως τις 29 Ιουλίου 2022, στις εγκαταστάσεις του Κέντρου ‘Ερευνας – Μουσείου Τσιτσάνη.

Κοντά στους δεξιοτέχνες μουσικούς και παιδαγωγούς: Βασίλη Κώστα στο λαούτο, Νεκτάριο Παπαγεωργίου στο κλαρίνο, Νίκο Γύρα στη λαϊκή κιθάρα και Θανάση Βόλλα στο μπουζούκι, οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες θα έρθουν σ’ επαφή με τα πλούσια μουσικά ιδιώματα της στεριανής και της λαϊκής μουσικής μας παράδοσης.

Το σεμινάριο, συνολικής διάρκειας 5 ημερών, θα περιλαμβάνει καθημερινά δύο τρίωρα εργαστήρια για κάθε όργανο, με σκοπό την εκμάθηση κοινού ρεπερτορίου και την πραγματοποίηση συναυλίας το βράδυ της 29ης Ιουλίου.

Δυνατότητα συμμετοχής έχουν μουσικοί (επαγγελματίες/ μαθητευόμενοι) με καλή και άριστη γνώση των οργάνων. Ο αριθμός των συμμετεχόντων δεν θα ξεπερνάει τους 10 για κάθε τάξη οργάνου.

Το 1o Summer Music Camp στην πόλη των Τρικάλων θα κινηματογραφηθεί, με σκοπό τη δημιουργία ενός ντοκιμαντέρ εμπνευσμένου από την εμπειρία των συμμετεχόντων, τον αντίκτυπό της στην τοπική κοινωνία, αλλά και τη σύνδεση μαθητών από πολλές χώρες της Ευρώπης και της Αμερικής με Έλληνες μουσικούς – καθηγητές και μαθητές.

1st Trikala Summer Music Camp – SMuC 2022

For the first time in the city of Trikala, musicians from all over Greece and abroad will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of traditional music, as part of an innovative educational program, which will take place from 25 to 29 July 2022, at the facilities of the Research Center – Tsitsanis Museum.

Close to the skilled musicians and educators Vassilis Kostas on Greek Mainland Laouto, Nektarios Papageorgiou on Greek Clarinet, Nikos Gyras on Folk Guitar, and Thanasis Vollas on Bouzouki, the participants will get in touch with the rich musical idioms of our country.

The seminars, which will last a total of 5 days, will include two three-hour workshops per day for each instrument, with the aim of practicing the essential repertoire and performing all together on the evening of July 29th.

Musicians (professionals/ students) with good or advanced knowledge of the instruments have the opportunity to participate. The number of participants will not exceed 10 participants for each class.

The 1st Summer Music Camp in the city of Trikala will be filmed, in order to create a documentary inspired by the experience of the participants, its impact on the local community, and also the connection of students from many countries in Europe and America with Greek musicians – teachers and students.
